Kinderio parent app: know how your child is doing, even from work
The Kinderio parent app shows you when your child arrived at kindergarten and when they left, what was for lunch and any news from the kindergarten. You can report your child absent and cancel their meals with one tap, and pay invoices by QR code. It opens on your phone, so there is nothing to download from an app store.
What you will find in the app
Everything you would otherwise phone the kindergarten about, or hunt for on a note in your child’s bag.

How the app makes an ordinary week easier
In the evening you notice your child has a temperature. Instead of phoning in the morning, you report them absent in the app and their meals are cancelled too.
In a meeting you wonder whether Grandma got your child there on time. You open your phone and see the arrival time.
In the afternoon someone other than usual is collecting your child. As long as that person is on the list you set up in the app, the teacher knows she can hand your child over to them.
At the end of the month the invoice arrives. You scan the QR code in your banking app and it is paid.

Send an application
You fill in the online application directly in the Kinderio app.
Get access
Once your child has a place with us, we give you access to the app.
Add it to your home screen
Open the link on your phone and choose “Add to Home Screen” in your browser menu.
Your child’s data is protected
Data in the Kinderio app is stored in the European Union and health information is encrypted. Logging in is protected by two-factor authentication. You never enter your child’s birth number (rodné číslo, the Slovak personal ID number) or health details on this website, only in the secure app.
Questions about the app
Who can collect my child?
Your child can be collected by you or by a person you name in the parent app. The teacher will not hand your child over to anyone else. This keeps your child safe: the teacher always knows they are leaving with someone you trust.
What will I see in the parent app?
In the app you will see when your child arrived and left, what they had for lunch (with allergens), kindergarten notices and invoices with QR payment. If you know your child will not be coming in, you report them absent and cancel their meals with one tap, even on the same day until 7:30. You also use it to set who is allowed to collect your child.
Do I have to download the app?
No. You open the app in your phone’s browser and add it to your home screen as an icon. You get access as soon as your child has a place with us.
