Who looks after your child at Sovička
At Sovička your child is looked after by a Slovak teacher who is responsible for one class of 7 to 15 children. Every kindergarten also has an English-speaking teacher all day. The whole of Sovička is led by our head teacher, Zuzana Marynčáková.
One teacher who knows your child
Every class has its own teacher. She welcomes your child in the morning, works with them during the day and tells you in the afternoon how their day went. Because there are no more than 15 children in the class, she has time to notice when your child doesn’t feel like eating, when they are tired or when they have fallen out with someone.
During settling in, it is the teacher you agree with on how long your child will stay for the first days and when to start leaving them for longer.
English-speaking teachers
Our English-speaking teachers come from the Philippines and Iran. They are at the kindergarten from morning until afternoon and speak English with the children during everyday activities: while getting dressed, at meals, at play and outdoors. So your child links English with what they are doing at that moment.
Meet our team in person
We don’t publish photos of our team on the website. You will meet the head teacher in person when you come for a visit with your child, and your child’s teacher when your child starts. On a visit you can ask about anything to do with your child: from settling in to how the teachers handle squabbles between children.
Get to know us before your child starts
The visit is free of obligation, and we fit the time around you.
